I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto where I work on the Local Parliament Project with Peter Loewen and Daniel Rubenson.
My research focuses on elections and political behaviour in a comparative perspective, mostly in Canada, the US and Western Europe. Some new projects I am working on focus on gender and politics.
Previously I completed my PhD at Oxford University (UK) under supervision of prof. Catherine de Vries. My PhD research explored the interaction between partisanship and democratic accountability in the US.
My teaching interests lie with comparative politics, US politics, European politics, quantitative research methods and women and politics.
